Recognition of true nature is so completely different from any psychedelic "trip". Namo Buddhay your holiness. I do research on Buddhism in Bihar- I realize Lakhisarai District of Bihar is the birthplace of Vajrayana Buddhism. It seems through Vajrayana, Tibetans preserved the history of Lakhisarai and the surrounding villages for which Bihar will one day be grateful. The villages around Lakhisarai town were the homes of great Buddhist Maha Siddha’s like Padmasambhava, Tilopa, Naropa, Atisa, Buddha Amitabha, and Dakinis like Mandarva, Niguma, Sukhasiddhi and many more. Special importance is the village of Sahur mispronounced by Tibetans as Zahor. Sahur village has a Dakini temple which is definitely Mandarva who was Padmasambhava’s first consort. Two Km east of Sahur (Zahor) is Dhanari lake with an Island which is definitely Lake Dhanakosha. And three km southeast of Dhanari Lake is Urain village which sounds similar to the Urgain in the Tibetan seven line prayer to Padmasambhava. Both Urain and the Tibetan Urgain mean to fly. Sansar Lake is definitely the lake where Padmasambhava was freed from Samsara. There is a temple called Jora temple with half a dozen Padmasambhava stone statues that are ditto Tibetan Thangka paintings of him. These have been compared by Tibetans.

Perfect. For the last five days I have been meditating near the spot where Buddha's foster mother attained Parinirvana. What better place. Imagine it. All the greats sat around where I sat looking on and helping Prajapati Gautami attaining Parinirvana. The spot is lovely and serene on the banks of the Ganges. Wow. The Buddha watched on, Sariputra and Mogallana watched on, Kassapa, Bhaddaji and the other disciples watched on, Visakha and Amrapali watched on, Theri Uppalavana watched on and helped Prajapati Gautami to have her last bath. The five hundred nuns were sitting around meditating. It took time. I was on that spot imagining that scene through my monkey mind as I tried to meditate. Namo Buddhay. Namaste. I hope to one day take you to Maha Prajapati Gautamies Parinirvana stupa so that you can meditate there where the Buddha sat meditating while his foster mother slowly passed away.

Very simple, yet profound, example of "suffering" by Ven. Master Sheng Yen: "Take a person who commits a crime and goes to jail. If he serves out his sentence, one day he will be free. Let’s say that before his sentence is served he tries to escape. He is caught and is sentenced to even more time in prison. Trying to put an end to his suffering by escaping, he creates more suffering for himself. Similarly, in order to be liberated from life’s suffering, one needs to cease giving rise to the causes of suffering."
